Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer has brought up 5,500 runs in T20 cricket. He accomplished the milestone with his fourth run in Match 47 of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) against Delhi Capitals at the Eden Gardens. He also completed 3,000 IPL runs in the match. Iyer smashed a 23-ball 33*, helping KKR chase down 154 in 16.3 overs.
