Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur has put Mumbai in command against Haryana in the Ranji Trophy quarter-final match at Kolkata's Eden Gardens.
His sensational performance saw him take six wickets in the second innings that turned the match in favor of Mumbai.
The pacer's briliance meant Haryana were folded for 301 after Mumbai posted 315/10 while batting first.

Thakur's absence from Team India and potential return
Thakur last played a Test match for Team India in 2023 and hasn't returned to the team since.
He was injured for a while but is now fully fit. Despite his fitness, he wasn't picked for the white-ball series against England or the Champions Trophy.
He even went unsold in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. However, considering his current form in the Ranji Trophy, he could join a team as a replacement player.
