Shami accused of age-fudging by wife Jahan
Mohammed Shami's troubles are not over yet as wife Hasin Jahan has made a fresh allegation against her husband. After earlier accusing him of domestic violence, match-fixing and adultery, Jahan, this time, has alleged that the Indian cricketer fudged his age to fool the BCCI. She has produced a document claiming it tells his actual age and not what he told the BCCI.
Jahan's claims against Shami
The former model has accused the cricketer of producing a fake birth certificate that mentions his birth year as 1990. Jahan stated that he fooled the CAB and the BCCI in order to take part in U-22 tournament. According to reports, she added that injustice was done to a real 22-year-old cricketer as Shami got the nod to participate instead.
Jahan unhappy with BCCI's clean chit
After she had accused Shami of accepting bribes, the BCCI had held Shami's contract. But after investigations, he was cleared by the cricket board and was awarded a Grade B contract. Jahan was disappointed with the decision taken by the Indian board.
Personal feud gone awry
The entire saga has taken an ugly turn since Jahan took to social media to accuse the cricketer of adultery. One by one allegations followed and FIR was filed against the player. The new accusation is another attack at the pacer. Shami has been out of form in the Indian Premier League 2018 season and has lost his place in the starting line-up.
