Lionel Messi helped Barcelona maintain their unbeaten run in La Liga with a late goal against Sevilla to hold them 2-2. Manchester City defeated Everton 3-1 after United's 2-0 home win. Messi scores once again as Barca hold Sevilla 2-2
Lionel Messi was once again instrumental for Barcelona as they kept their unbeaten run in La Liga intact. Sevilla had romped to a 2-0 lead when Franco Vazquez and Luis Muriel scored in the first half. But Luis Suarez pulled one back in the 88th minute as Messi scored the equalizer a minute later to rescue a point. It was his 26th league goal.
Man City one win away from title
Manchester City thrashed Everton 3-1 to move within touching distance of the Premier League title. Goals from Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling put Pep Guardiola's side in a comfortable position. Everton pulled a goal back through Yannick Bolasie in the 63rd minute. But it was never enough for the hosts as City registered their 27th victory in the EPL this season.
City could become champions in their next match against United
A win for City on April 7 at the Etihad against Manchester United could help them seal the title. They are 16 points above their neighbours ManU. City could be the first team to lift the title this early in Premier League history.

Manchester United beat Swansea City 2-0 at Old Trafford with goals from Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez. There were vital wins for West Ham United, Leicester City and Newcastle United. West Brom's relegation looks almost sealed after a 1-2 loss against Burnley.
Bayern thump Dortmund, Juve beat Milan
Leaders Bayern Munich showed their dominance in the Bundesliga after a 6-0 win against third placed Borussia Dortmund. Robert Lewandowski haunted his former side with a sublime hat-trick as goals from James Rodriguez, Thomas Muller and Franck Ribery completed the rout. In Serie A Juventus went four points clear atop with a 3-1 win against AC Milan after Napoli had drew 1-1 on Saturday.
Ibrahimovic shows his magic on MLS debut
Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who left Manchester United for Los Angeles Galaxy in MLS, had a breathtaking debut. The veteran forward helped his side score the equalizing third goal with a screamer. He then headed in stoppage time to seal a 4-3 win against Los Angeles FC.
