Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Salah could equal RVP, CR7's record
Liverpool's Egyptian king Mohamed Salah is in sight of equalling the record of scoring in 21 Premier League games in a 38-match season. Salah has already netted in 20 matches out of Liverpool's 31 matches this season. Former ManU duo Robin van Persie and Cristiano Ronaldo have the record of scoring in 21 games. A goal against Palace will ensure Salah equals the record.
Goals scored in most EPL matches in a single season
If Salah does go on to score against Palace, he will next target records set by Alan Shearer and Andly Cole. Shearer scored in 24 matches in a 40-game season for Blackburn Rovers in 1994-95. The record of goals scored in most Premier League matches is held by Andy Cole (26) for Newcastle United in 1993-94 in a 40-match campaign.

Salah has scored 28 goals in the 2017-18 Premier League season; four more than Harry Kane. Teams that have stopped Salah from scoring this season in EPL are: Manchester United (2), Crystal Palace, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Huddersfield, Brighton, Swansea City (2) and West Brom.
