Salah likely to be a part of Egypt's WC campaign
We have some good news for all Egypt fans. Mohamed Salah is likely to be a part of Egypt's World Cup campaign in Russia. Egyptian Football Association has stated that Salah's absence 'will not exceed' 3 weeks. This means the Egyptian King will be fit to play some matches of 2018 World Cup. Egypt start their campaign on June 15 against Uruguay.
EFA hopeful about Salah's participation
Mo Salah sustained an injury in the UEFA Champions League finale against Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26. The national team doctor of Egypt met Salah and updated about his recovery via Twitter. Although, Salah is likely to miss the game against Uruguay, the next two ties (Russia on June 19 , Saudi Arabia on June 19) could see his participation.

The Liverpool star scored an emphatic 95th minute winner in the nation's final qualification game. The last-gasp penalty helped the nation qualify for the World Cup after a period of 28 years. The 2017-18 season was a career defining one for Salah as he netted 44 goals for Liverpool across all competitions. His match-winning attributes could be of major help for his side.
Islamic preacher lashes out at Salah
Religious leaders have often been found raising objections for what they believe is against their religion. And now Salah is under fire from one of the preachers. An Islamic preacher in Kuwait has slammed the player and claimed that he suffered the injury as a punishment from God for breaking his Ramzan fast for the UCL finale.
