22-year-old Ayub is making just his 2nd Test appearance. In his debut Test, he scored 33 runs across two innings versus Australia in Sydney earlier this year. He owns 89 runs at 29.66. As per ESPNcricinfo, he hit his 4th fifty in First-Class cricket.
