Sri Lanka batter Sadeera Samarawickrama has slammed his maiden century in One-Day Internationals. The right-handed batter reached the three-figure mark against Pakistan in the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Sadeera shared a century stand with centurion Kusal Mendis after SL lost openers Kusal Perera and Pathum Nissanka. Sadeera then took the Lankans past the 300-run mark.

Sadeera reached his century off 82 balls in the 46th over.

Sadeera made his ODI debut in October 2017 against Pakistan. Standing in his 25th ODI, the right-handed batter has raced past 700 runs.
