In the 2006 Champions Trophy (Match 16, Mohali), Makhaya Ntini delivered his best ODI figures of 5/8 against Pakistan.
Defending 214, he ripped through the top order, dismissing Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Farhat, and Mohammad Younis in 7.2 overs (bowling his fifth over).
He removed Shoaib Malik and Kamran Akmal for 0 and 1 in his sixth over, as SA bowled Pakistan out for 89.

In the rain-affected 1998 Champions Trophy semifinal (Dhaka), Steve Elworthy's 3/21 powered South Africa into the final.
He dismissed openers Sanath Jayasuriya and Romesh Kaluwitharana within six overs, adding Aravinda de Silva in the eighth.
His three-fer, along with Pat Symcox's three wickets, helped bowl Sri Lanka out for 132 while chasing 224.
South Africa won by 92 runs (D/L method).

In the fourth match of the 2004 Champions Trophy in Edgbaston, Charl Langeveldt tore through Bangladesh's batting lineup.
He dismissed openers Javed Omer and Mohammad Ashraful and skipper Rajin Saleh for single digits and a duck, respectively, within four overs.
Langeveldt's three-fer combined Ntini and Nicky Boje's saw Bangladesh fold for 93.

As mentioned, Jansen's three-fer, combined with Mulder's three-wicket haul, helped South Africa bowl England out for 179.
He dismissed openers Phil Salt and Ben Duckett, along with Jaime Smith for a duck, all within his five overs within the seventh over, reducing England to 3/37.
SA then sealed a seven-wicket win, thanks to half-centuries from Rassie van der Dussen and Heinrich Klaasen.
