RR vs MI: How to pick the winning Dream11?
Rajasthan Royals will face a stern test when they welcome Mumbai Indians at home in the ongoing 12th edition of the Indian Premier League on April 20. RR are seventh on the league table in IPL 2019, whereas, MI are flying high at second place. Fans, who are playing Dream11, will be looking to pick the winning team. We decide the same.
Skipper Buttler charges the powerful batting line-up
Jos Buttler is our choice as the leader of this Dream11 team. The dangerous Englishman can power RR and opens the batting with in-form Quinton de Kock. The southpaw has been MI's top run-scorer this season. Rohit Sharma comes in next and provides the solidity. Ajinkya Rahane and Rahul Tripathi form the crux in the middle order. A lot will depend on their performances.
Pandya brothers power the all-round department
MI have been bolstered by the presence of Pandya brothers Hardik and Krunal. Hardik, in particular, has been their match-winner and is the vice-captain. His late flourishes with the bat have become a regular occurrence. Krunal hasn't shied away either. His influence has been massive.
Here's a look at the bowlers
We have gone with a four-man bowling unit. Spinner Rahul Chahar has become MI's trump card, since making an entry to the side. He will be counted upon to take wickets. Pacers Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer are the go to men in this department. Both have been superb in IPL 2019. Dhawal Kulkarni provides the support cast as the third pacer.
Predicted Playing XI and possible winner
Predicted RR Playing XI: Buttler, Tripathi, Samson (wicket-keeper), Smith, Rahane (captain), Binny, Gopal, Archer, Sodhi, Unadkat and Kulkarni. Predicted MI Playing XI: Quinton de Kock (wicket-keeper), Rohit (captain), Suryakumar, Kishan, Pollard, Hardik, Krunal, Chahar, Behrendorff, Malinga and Bumrah. RR are in a must-win scenario. Their middle order is a concern. MI have momentum and belief in their side. We expect MI to go through.
