Sairaj Bahutule to join Rajasthan Royals as spin bowling coach

Former Indian cricketer Sairaj Bahutule is set to rejoin the Rajasthan Royals (RR) as a spin bowling coach for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
The development comes after his exit from Bengaluru's National Cricket Academy (NCA), now called Centre of Excellence.
Bahutule had previously served with RR from 2018-21, and will be working alongside New Zealand's Shane Bond and head coach Rahul Dravid.

In an interview with Cricbuzz, Bahutule said he was excited to join the franchise again.
"The discussions are ongoing, and I'm close to finalizing my involvement with the franchise," he said.
He added there are still some details to be ironed out but he is eager to realign with the Royals.
This shows he is looking forward to his role in the team.

Bahutule looks forward to reuniting with Rahul Dravid
Bahutule is especially looking forward to working with Rahul Dravid again, whom he worked with when the latter was at the helm of the Indian team.
"I'm also thrilled to be reuniting with Rahul," he said.
He remembered how Dravid introduced him to the Indian team during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in 2023 as a spin bowling coach and was on his coaching staff in Sri Lanka.
