    Indian cricketing star, Rohit Sharma, has listed his Lower Parel property in Mumbai for rent at ₹2.6 lakh per month.

    The deal was officially registered in January 2025, records obtained by Square Yards on the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website revealed.

    The particular property is located in Lodha Marquise - The Park, a residential project by Macrotech Developers Limited (Lodha Group).

    Sharma's rental apartment is part of a fully developed residential community spanning seven acres.

    The residence offers a carpet area of 1,298 sq. ft (approximately 129.8 sq. m) and comes with two car parking spaces.

    The lease transaction attracted a stamp duty of ₹16,300 and registration charges amounting to ₹1,000 according to IGR property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards.

    Past purchases

    Sharma's investment history in Lower Parel

    Records indicate Sharma and his father, Gurunath Sharma, bought the now-rented apartment in March 2013 for ₹5.46 crore.

    The rental price indicates a 6% yield on their investment.

    They also own another apartment in the same complex, Lodha Marquise - The Park, which was purchased in 2013 for ₹5.7 crore and rented out in October 2024 for ₹2.65 lakh per month.
