Rohit Sharma becomes second Indian with 11,500 T20 runs: Stats
India's veteran batter Rohit Sharma has completed 11,500 runs in men's T20 cricket. The former Mumbai Indians skipper reached this landmark in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) encounter against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Rohit unlocked this achievement with his 14th run in the contest. Notably, he is only the second Indian with over 11,500 runs in T20 cricket.

As mentioned, Rohit has become the second Indian to touch the 11,500-run mark in T20 cricket. He is only behind Virat Kohli in terms of T20 runs. Kohli leads the tally with over 12,628 runs. Chris Gayle (14,562), Shoaib Malik (13,360), Kieron Pollard (12,900), Alex Hales (12,319) and David Warner (12,232) are ahead of India's Rohit.

Rohit has the second-most centuries by an Indian batter in T20 cricket. With eight tons, he is only behind Kohli (9). As many as five of his centuries have come in internationals, the joint-most with Glenn Maxwell.
