Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his appreciation for the Indian contingent as the Paris Olympics concluded. "All athletes have given their best and every Indian is proud of them," PM Modi wrote on social media. Despite these achievements, India narrowly missed out on six potential medals, with athletes finishing fourth in their events. The nation also faced disappointment with Vinesh Phogat's disqualification just before a historic final.
