Cricketer Rishabh Pant signs multi-crore deal with SG
19-year old Delhi batsman Rishabh Pant has signed a three year deal with Meerut based cricket equipment manufacturers, Sanspareils Greenlands (SG). The exact amount of the multi-crore deal has not been revealed, but according to a statement by Professional Management Group (PMG), Pant will be endorsing the company's equipment in all the formats of the game. SG supplies balls for Ranji Trophy matches.
Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant is an Indian cricketer from Delhi. He was born on 4 October 1997. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Delhi in October 2015 and soon in December, he played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. During same time, Pant was also selected to be a part of the Indian team for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
Fastest fifty in U-19 WC and IPL selection
In the 2016 Under 19 World Cup, Pant scored three continuous fifties, one of those being the fastest fifty in the format. He smashed the fifty in just 18 balls. Pant's maiden century came against Namibia, hitting 111 runs in 96 balls. On the same day he hit his century, he was bought by IPL team Delhi daredevils for a whooping Rs.1.9 crore.
Fastest Ranji century
In the 2016-17 Ranji season, Rishabh Pant scored 308 runs against Maharashtra to become the fourth Indian batsman to score a triple century. Against Jharkhand, Pant hit the Ranji Trophy's fastest century which came in 48 balls.
