2000: NZ beat India to claim maiden title

A young Team India, under the leadership of Sourav Ganguly, lost by five runs in Nairobi.
India racked up 264/6 with fifty-plus scores from Ganguly (117) and Sachin Tendulkar (69).
NZ, who were reduced to 82/3, were powered by Chris Cairns's historic ton. He added a century stand with Chris Harris (46).

2025: India avenge loss in Dubai
The two sides met after 25 years in the Champions Trophy, this time in Dubai. The Kiwis were at the receiving end in the low-scoring encounter.
Being put in to bat, India scored 249/9 on the back of Shreyas Iyer's innings-defining 79(98). Matt Henry took five wickets.
However, Varun Chakravarthy's fifer spun India to a famous 44-run win. NZ perished for 205.
