Rohit set to surpass Shikhar Dhawan
Rohit is one of only four men with 6,000-plus runs in the IPL. He has racked up 6,628 runs from 257 games at an average of 29.72.
He is has the third-most runs after Virat Kohli (8,004) and Shikhar Dhawan (6,769).
The impending edition presents Rohit an opportunity to surpass Dhawan, as the latter has retired from the league.

Rohit could also become the third player with 50 fifty-plus scores in the IPL. With 45 such scores, he is behind David Warner (66), Kohli (63), and Dhawan (53) on this elite list.

Rohit has been smacking the ball all around the ground in white-ball cricket of late. He is expected to give MI similar starts in the tournament.
By doing so, Rohit could become the second player to hit 300 sixes in the IPL. Chris Gayle remains the only batter with this feat as of now.

Rohit sets sights on 12,000 T20 runs
Rohit is also set to become the second Indian with 12,000 runs in T20 cricket.
As of now, he has racked up 11,830 runs from 448 matches at an average of 30.88. His tally includes eight tons and 78 half-centuries.
Rohit is only behind Kohli (12,886) in terms of T20 runs among Indians.
The former will also feature in his 450th T20 encounter.
