Fakhar, Imam stitch record ODI opening partnership
Pakistani batsmen, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, broke the record of the highest opening partnership in ODI cricket. The duo added 304 runs for the first wicket against Zimbabwe. They broke the previous record set by Upul Tharanga and Sanath Jayasuriya (286) for Sri Lanka against England at Leeds in 2006. Zaman also became the first Pakistani batsman to score an ODI double ton (210*).

Zaman broke Saeed Anwar's record of the highest ODI score by a Pakistani batsman in ODIs (194). This was Zaman's 2nd century of the series and a third career ton as well. He became the sixth batsman to hit an ODI double ton. The southpaw has played a crucial role for his side in this series as Pakistan enjoy a 3-0 advantage.

Imam, Zaman special against Zimbabwe
Imam hit a 122-ball 113 runs, hitting 8 fours. This was his third ODI ton in just eight innings. The opener played the second fiddle to Zaman, who was attacking the ball from the start. The duo added the record stand in just 42 overs. Zaman smashed 24 fours and 5 sixes in a whirlwind innings that saw him amass an unbeaten 210 runs.
