The ICC World Cup 2019 is the biggest platform to perform for any cricketer.
As a result, many records would be created and broken.
It has been a week since the tournament started, and there have already been a number of records scripted by the players.

Two records by MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni is one player who can't be kept out of record-books.
So far in this tournament, he has already scripted two records.
Post the match against South Africa, he became the first player to keep in 600 innings.
He now has the third-most number of dismissals behind the wicket in the World Cup (33), after Kumar Sangakkara (54) and Adam Gilchrist (52).

Australia's Nathan Coulter-Nile scored his career-best knock of 92 against Windies. Interestingly, it is also the highest score by a number eight or lower batsman in the World Cup, across editions.

Rohit Sharma scripts aplenty with ton against South Africa
Rohit Sharma's century against Proteas helped him script records aplenty:
It was his third century in England and eighth unbeaten ton while chasing.
It was his ninth century in successful ODI chases.
He now has the third most number of ODI centuries for India.
He scripted second-highest individual score, by an Indian, during World Cup chase.
He now has joint-fourth most international sixes (354).

England skipper Eoin Morgan scripted a unique record when he became the first English cricketer to play 200 ODIs. Previously, the record of most ODI appearances for England was held by Paul Collingwood of 197, from 2001-2011.
