Their partnership is the highest for the third wicket overall in T20Is. It is also the fourth-highest partnership for any wicket in T20Is and is England's best as well.
Morgan scripts a host of special feats
England skipper Morgan (91) smashed his 11th career fifty in T20Is. He smashed seven fours and seven sixes. Morgan raced to 150 career T20I fours. He needs six more maximums to register 100 sixes (94). The southpaw now has 1,985 runs in T20Is and is 15 shy of the 2,000-run mark. Morgan slammed his highest score and registered a second fifty against New Zealand.
In-form Malan slams maiden T20I century
England's Malan is enjoying the form of his life. After scoring 55 in the previous match. Malan slammed his maiden century in T20Is and smashed nine fours and six sixes. In just his ninth T20I, Malan has already registered 450-plus runs (458) at 57.25. The promising batsman became England's second-ever centurion in the format. His 103* is also the second-highest score by an Englishman.
Morgan and Malan register fastest milestones for England
Morgan registered the fastest fifty by an Englishman in T20Is (21 balls). Meanwhile, Malan hit the fastest T20I hundred for England (48 balls). Malan registered his sixth fifty-plus score in nine innings.
