Nicholas Pooran played an explosive knock for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 7 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 in Hyderabad.
The star batsman scored 70 runs off just 26 balls, significantly contributing to LSG's run-chase of 191 runs.
Notably, this was the fourth occasion of Pooran completing an IPL fifty under 20 balls.

Pooran's latest half-century came off just 18 balls.
Notably, the southpaw himself holds the record for the fastest fifty for LSG with a stunning 15-ball blitz against RCB last year.
He hammered 62 off 19 balls in that clash. Pooran got to his fifty from just 19 balls against Mumbai Indians in 2024 (75 off 29 balls).
Playing for Punjab Kings, Pooran clocked a 17-ball fifty against SRH in 2020.
The southpaw made 77 off 37 balls in that contest.

Jake Fraser-McGurk - 3 times
Jake Fraser-McGurk was sensational for Delhi Capitals last year.
Two of his fifties came off just 15 balls - against SRH and Mumbai Indians.
No other DC batter has scored a faster half-century in the league.
While Fraser-McGurk smashed 65 off 18 balls SRH, he blasted 84 runs off 27 balls against MI.
He took 19 balls to complete his fifty against Rajasthan Royals, departing for a 20-ball 50.

In Travis Head, we have another Australian with three fifties under 20 balls in IPL 2024.
He slammed a 16-ball half-century against Delhi Capitals. The SRH opener smashed 89 off 32 balls in that duel.
Head smashed a whirlwind 89* from 30 balls against LSG. He got to his fifty from 16 balls in the 5th over.
The southpaw registered an 18-ball fifty against Mumbai Indians before departing for 62 off 24 balls.
