Indian cricket team middle order batsman Ambati Rayudu has been reported with a suspect bowling action during the ODI encounter against Australia in Sydney on Saturday. Rayudu bowled just two overs and gave away 13 runs. There is a concern over the 33-year-old spinner's action. India lost the first ODI by 34 runs. Here's more on Rayudu.
Rayudu will be required to undergo testing within 14 days
According to a report in the ICC's official website, Rayudu's action will now be scrutinized further under the ICC process. Meanwhile, the match officials' report was handed over to the India team management post the Sydney encounter. Rayudu will be required to undergo testing within a 14-day period. During this time, he will be allowed to bowl until the results of testing is known.

Rayudu has hardly bowled in his ODI career
Rayudu bowled in just nine of his 46 innings in ODIs. Indian captain Virat Kohli turned up to Rayudu after leaving out Kedar Jadhav from the starting XI. Dinesh Karthik was preferred ahead of the part-time all-rounder. India trail Australia 0-1 in the three-match series. The second ODI will be held on Tuesday and is scheduled for 8:50 AM IST start.
What's the rule set by ICC?
The rule set by the ICC allows a bowler to flex their elbows only up to 15 degrees. During the testing, if Rayudu is shown to flex beyond that, he will be suspended from bowling in international cricket, before needing to rectify the same.
