Jadeja eyes 300-wicket mark
Jadeja, India's wicket-taker across formats, has 294 scalps from 72 Tests at an average of 24.13 as of now. The left-arm spinner is set to become the seventh Indian with 300 wickets in Test cricket. He is behind Anil Kumble (619), Ashwin (516), Kapil Dev (434), Harbhajan Singh (417), Ishant Sharma (311), and Zaheer Khan (311) in terms of wickets among Indians.

By completing 300 Test wickets, Jadeja will enter an elite club of Indian all-rounders. He would become only the third Indian with the double of 300 wickets and 3,000 runs in Test cricket. Only Dev (5,248 runs) and Ashwin (3,309 runs) have attained this feat for India. Jadeja has 3,036 runs at an average of 36.14 in Test cricket so far.
Jadeja could surpass Kapil Dev
Jadeja currently has the fifth-most wickets for India in home Tests. He owns 213 scalps at 20.86 in this regard. He is likely to surpass fourth-placed Dev (219) in terms of Test wickets at home.
