Ramandeep explains why he rejected offers from other IPL franchises
What's the story
Indian Premier League (IPL) star Ramandeep Singh, who started his journey with the Mumbai Indians, has opened up about his decision to stick with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Despite lucrative offers of up to ₹10 crore from other franchises, the all-rounder opted to stay loyal to KKR.
His loyalty paid off as he was retained by KKR for ₹4 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.
Loyalty over money
Singh's loyalty to KKR over monetary gains
Speaking on the Raj Shamani Podcast, Singh thanked KKR for providing him the platform to showcase his talent.
He said, "The franchise that has helped you, you shouldn't leave them at this time. You shouldn't leave them at all. If you are leaving just for money, then that is wrong."
Despite other franchises' money-spinning offers, Singh stayed loyal to KKR for their support in his early days.

Ramandeep Singh stressed that franchises giving opportunities to their players deserve loyalty in return.
The Chandigarh-born player said earning money has never been his priority.
