Sindhu pays tribute to Gopichand by co-producing a new film
It is under Pullela Gopichand's guidance and dedication that PV Sindhu has become one of the best badminton players India has ever produced. On this teachers' day, Sindhu paid a tribute to her mentor by co-producing a new digital film which shows why people must celebrate those who keep pushing them. The film has been co-produced by a sports drink brand.
Why does Sindhu 'hate' Gopichand?
In the movie, Sindhu speaks about how difficult the journey of a sportsman is. At times, she finds herself on the brink of giving up. But it is during these moments that her coach guides her and tells her not to give up and to push forward. She hates her coach then, but eventually, this unwavering dedication becomes the reason for her success.
Sindhu indebted to Gopichand
Sindhu said, "Coach has worked relentlessly and has had big dreams for me. I can't help but feel indebted to coach for his relentless pursuit of excellence. This Teachers' Day, I dedicate all my success to him." She added, "Let's hate our teachers for pushing us further and believing in us more than we believe in ourselves."
