#GamingBytes: Five toughest achievements to unlock in PUBG
PUBG provides an intense Battle Royale experience, where players can duke it out against 99 opponents to emerge as the sole survivor. However, the game makes things better for players interested in additional challenges. If just the normal chicken dinner seems bland, PUBG offers achievements to spice things up. However, some of these achievements are notoriously difficult to unlock. Read about them here.
What is an achievement in PUBG?
An achievement is like a mission within a game of PUBG. The game asks players to carry out various tasks or get specific styles of kills to unlock these achievements. In most cases, unlocking them is rewarded within the game through special cosmetics.
Welcome to the Fight Club of Battle Royale
One of the most notoriously difficult achievements is 'The First Rule Is'. Players must take out 20 enemies with their bare hands. This is almost impossible in a Battle Royale as survival instinct kicks in and everyone picks up weapons. The best way to get these kills is to land in high-action places and try to nab a few early stray players.
Bloodthirsty aggression is what they want
'First Blood' is a seemingly simple achievement to unlock. All you have to do is kill the first player immediately after landing. However, it is not so simple. By the time you jump out at your pre-decided destination, people on the ground have started dying. The best way to get this achievement is to jump early and ensure you land next to an enemy.
Sharpen your archery skills for Battle Royale
Anyone who has played PUBG will know how difficult handling the crossbow is. The reload time is excruciatingly long, and later in the game, it is difficult to kill with this weapon. This makes 'Shoot the Knee' achievement hard to unlock, where players have to kill ten enemies with a crossbow. We suggest aiming for the head in the early stages of the game.
Top of the line looting skills
Players can get 'Okay, Now I'm Ready' achievement unlocked by equipping a Level 3 backpack, helmet and armor. While Level 3 gear will definitely ensure longer survival, it is notoriously difficult to come across all three in a single match. We suggest killing and looting other players' Level 3 gear, but you risk damaging the armor and helmet while trying to kill your enemy.
A far stretch for skilled players
Try this only if you have some PUBG experience. If you want a player's helmet, shoot their bodies. This damages the armor and kills the player, but the helmet you want to loot remains undamaged. Conversely, try headshots if you want to loot someone's armor.
Blast them away from the game
Pro players often use a combination of fragmentation and stun grenades to flush out enemies before shooting them. However, the 'Nade King' achievement requires players to kill 10 enemies with grenades. While this might seem simple, it is difficult to get an accurate throw during an intense match. Furthermore, even if players accurately throw grenades, they might only injure enemies instead of killing them.
