#GamingBytes: Five tips to camp in PUBG's Sanhok
PUBG offers competitive tactical gameplay in the Battle Royale genre and its Sanhok map speeds this up due to its smaller size. While the action-packed map is not ideal for camping, sometimes players must resort to it if they are outgunned or outnumbered. It is advisable then to hide and take out enemies from cover. We bring you five tips to camp in Sanhok.
The golden spots in the salt mines
The salt mines of Lakawi is a popular landing spot since it offers decent loot. Further, it is slightly away from the high-action areas. However, if you suddenly see an influx of enemies here, head to the pier with the shed at the edge of the water. Swim underneath it, to be hidden from view by the wooden bridge, as you scope your opponents.
The killing fields in military camps
As players know, Boot Camp is a high action area. If you are in Boot Camp expect heavy gunfire. However, if the rich loot does draw you there, look carefully at the crates and you will find there is a small spot in between three crates. It provides the perfect hiding spot as you are completely hidden from enemy view.
The stressful resort for killing streaks
Far from its name, Paradise Resort is hell in Sanhok. Nonetheless, the hallways and ledges of the buildings offer great hiding spots. One of the best hiding spots in Paradise Resort, however, is right behind the massive signpost. Climb up on the ledge and peek from behind the sign to kill approaching enemies. However, be careful not to get flanked and attacked from behind.
Bridge across deadly waters
Bridge camping is important in Sanhok as there are three bridges. Climb up on metal rails above the bridge and go prone for a great camping spot. Alternately, scale the ledges and camp to kill enemies approaching from land, water, or from the bridge itself. Be careful on the ledge, and dive into the water if you come under enemy fire.
Finding a solid base
Most houses in Sanhok are located on elevated platforms. Therefore, it is a smart move to go prone and hide underneath the houses, waiting for enemies to come in search of loot. Shoot repeatedly at their legs to take out unsuspecting enemies. However, be careful of being flanked underneath houses, since minimal space means you cannot dodge when enemies are firing at you.
