#GamingBytes: PUBG PS4 pre-order option spotted on PlayStation Store
The rumors have been circulating for a long time that PUBG would be coming to PS4, probably by the end of 2018. They were supported by evidence like the game being rated for PS4 on the Korean ratings board, and game files being found on PSN servers. While no official announcement has been made, further evidence has come to light. Read about it here.
All about the new evidence
The official PlayStation store for the US is showing a PUBG PS4 pre-order tab. The listing is appearing on both the Featured as well as the PS Plus Tabs. However, it appears that players are unable to pre-order it at the moment, as clicking on the tab displays an error message. The message reads, "This content cannot be selected at this time".
What do we make of this new evidence?
While it might be possible that the listing is an error and will be taken down, the probability of PUBG coming to PS4 is far higher. When we combine the fact that the Battle Royale officially appeared for pre-order on the PS store with the rumors that have been circulating, it appears to be a foregone conclusion that PS4 gamers can enjoy PUBG soon.
When can we expect PS4 to get PUBG?
Although no official date has been announced, the evidence of the game's arrival to PS4 is mounting. Now that PUBG is out of the early access mode, it is almost certain that the famous Battle Royale would soon come to one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world. Sony might be waiting to reveal this big news at The Game Awards.
PUBG cross platform play could be possible
With PS4 opening up cross-platform play recently, with Fortnite being one of the first games getting the feature, the arrival of PUBG could signal a spike in competition. The Battle Royale scene would heat up once PS4 players enter the fray.
