#GamingBytes: All details about PUBG Mobile Season 4
PUBG Mobile has maintained immense popularity as a Battle Royale. Having spanned for three seasons, it is getting a new start with Season 4 on November 20. Developers PUBG Corp. announced through the official PUBG Mobile's Twitter account all gamers are expected to receive the update by November 21, after a scheduled server maintenance downtime. Read about the changes coming to PUBG season 4.
The old season makes way for the new
Change is the only constant
As we reported, Season 3's scores and rankings will not be carried forward. Everyone will start with a clean slate. Expect competitive gaming as players scramble to gain points. A Royale Pass will be provided in Season 4, including weekly challenges. Players can gain up to 100 Royale Points or RP. Besides this, Season 4 will bring map changes, new weapons, vehicles, and costumes.
The Royale Pass for the Battle Royale
Gamers can receive benefits for leveling up if they choose either the Elite Upgrade Royale Pass or the Elite Upgrade Plus Royale Pass. On crossing level 100, gamers will get special rewards and can gain access to special unlocked items.
All about the brand new gun in season 4
What excites me most about Season 4 is the Beryl M762 assault-rifle. It looks like the AKM and uses 7.62 mm caliber bullets. However, this gun can be equipped more than the AKM. It has a lower damage than the AKM but its firing rate is almost at par with the Groza (available from airdrops). The high recoil can be adjusted by equipping foregrips.
Blink and you miss the gun
I had the strange luck of picking up a Beryl M762 in the Erangel map sometime back. Probably PUBG developers were testing it since I never saw it spawn after that one game. Nonetheless, having handled the gun, I would recommend it over the AKM.
Changes coming to the gameplay
Among other changes in Season 4 is a dynamic weather and scooter for Sanhok, previously available for PC versions. The dynamic weather will include thunder and rainfall, which should impact player movement, visibility, and sound. Other changes include new skins, revamped backpacks, weapons, airplane, vehicles and parachutes menus. Notably, Joker and Harley Quinn skins will appear for PUBG PC and later appear on mobiles.
New map for a new season
Much like Season 3 introduced the Sanhok map, we hope season 4 introduces Dihor Otok, the snow map which has been teased for the longest time. It will be exciting to check out a brand new surrounding where snow will significantly affect gameplay.
