PUBG Mobile Season 4: All about the Royale Pass
PUBG Mobile is getting Season 4 today, as we reported. The popular Battle Royale will be resetting ranks and points as players have to scramble to reassert their positions in the new season. What is the Royale Pass?
Inspired by the Battle Pass of Fortnite, the Royale Pass rewards gamers for progress through the season by giving cosmetics, Battle Points, and EXP Boosters. Players can either opt for the Free Royale Pass or Elite Royale Pass.
What do you get in the Free Royale Pass?
The Free Royale Pass lets players reach up to level 45, where it maxes out. Every player has access to this pass which offers Royale Points on completion of Challenge and Daily Missions. The rewards include cosmetic items but they are far fewer than the Elite Pass, which also comes with an additional 25 tiers and cosmetic rewards for every tier completion.
What do you get in the Elite Royale Pass?
The Elite Royale Pass is of two types, the Elite Upgrade, and Elite Upgrade Plus, which are purchasable. The former exclusively offers, unique Royale Pass icon, permanent rare sweatshirt, and weapon finish and weekly elite missions. The latter offers the same and additionally gives permanent Wanderer Outfit and rare airplane finish as well as Royale Points which add up to 20 Ranks.
How much does the Elite Royale Pass cost?
The Elite Upgrade costs 600 UC, while Elite Upgrade Plus costs 1800 UC. UC is the in-game currency, which can only be purchased with real-world money. The former costs around Rs. 713, while the latter costs approximately Rs. 1,785. Clicking the bottom right icon will prompt this purchase. If players don't have adequate UC, clicking 'OK' will allow them to purchase the required amount.
Stay frosty in Season 4
In other news, Season 4's Royale Pass teases a lot of winter skins for outfits like 'Chilly Requiem Set' and vehicles, including the armored UAZ and motorcycle. This coupled with PUBG Mobile's recent tweet asking players to stay frosty, while promoting Season 4's Royale Pass, leads us to believe that the long-anticipated winter map might be finally headed to PUBG Mobile in Season 4.
