#GamingBytes: All about the upcoming Season 5 of PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile offers one of the most intense Battle Royale experiences and is incredibly popular in Asian markets including India. Season 4 was a hit among gamers, since it introduced the highly anticipated Vikendi snow map. It also brought the winter theme in-game. Now with Season 5, PUBG Mobile is getting a new fire theme, weapons, and outfits. Read all about it here.
Season 5 comes with update 0.10.5
PUBG Mobile introduces Season 5 with the update 0.10.5. This update brings Royal Pass Season 5 and a new Ranked Mode. The update has a 190 MB download size and is being rolled out in phases for both Android and iOS users.
MK47: New assault rifle with laser sight
The MK47 Mutant is the new assault rifle being introduced to the mobile version of the game. Notably, this gun has been available in PC version since September. The new gun uses 7.62 mm ammo and can be fitted with a laser sight attachment. Notably, the G36C and PP-19 Bizon submachine guns are also expected to arrive in the game, later in the season.
Season 5 expected to bring an apocalyptic theme
Like Season 4 brought a winter theme along with the Vikendi map, Season 5 is expected to bring a new apocalyptic theme in the game. Just like white clothes reflected the snow theme of Season 4, Season 5's theme will be reflected in the brand new outfits specific to the season. These outfits are supposed to showcase a fire theme.

Other changes which Season 5 is bringing
Among other changes that have already been introduced in Season 5 is the return of the 'Classic' voice. Apart from that, the looting in Vikendi has been tuned, so maybe we can pick up more snipers and assault rifles in the game, now. The shop has been adjusted as well, meaning we might notice a change in the prices of in-game items.
Zombies might be coming with the new season
A new Zombie mode is also supposed to come in the game. Some streamers already noted the presence of zombies near the shores of the PUBG maps. However, they do not seem to be alive for now. However, Season 5 will definitely see the introduction of this mode, where players have to battle the undead on smaller maps.
Dynamic weather might be coming to all maps
Sanhok already has dynamic weather in the form of rains and fog. The new season is expected to bring a dynamic weather system to the other maps as well. This should make the gameplay more interesting as players have to keep weather conditions in mind while moving across the map or engaging opponents. We fully expect these changes to arrive in Season 5 itself.
