#GamingBytes: PUBG Mobile Zombies Mode update date confirmed
The tactically intense PUBG Mobile is about to get a lot more interesting following the upcoming update. The Battle Royale is going to get an army of undead as the Zombie mode is finally coming to the game. Following a scheduled server downtime for maintenance, the update 0.11.0 will be rolled out on February 19. Read all about this exciting update here.
Timing of the upcoming update
Update 0.11.0, which has long been anticipated by gamers, will roll out on February 19. The new version of the game will be pushed on the Apple app store and the Google PlayStore on the same date. Before the update, servers are expected to go offline the day before, on February 18, between 5:30 am and 1:30 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).
Zombie mode adds Resident Evil 2 characters, gets a title
The Zombie mode, which has been titled Survive Till Dawn, is the new limited time event. It will pitch the mobile gamers against the zombies and bosses from Resident Evil 2. The new mode comes as a result of the crossover between the two games, as we reported. Notably, the main menu theme and music from Resident Evil 2 will also be added in-game.
The Zombie mode will be better enjoyed as a squad
With the Zombie mode coming to PUBG Mobile, we suggest you enter the game with your squad. This is because it is easier to beat some of the more difficult bosses if you are teamed up. Further, team members could keep an eye out for and neutralize opponents who try to take you out while you are distracted on your mission to kill zombies.
Despite BC-UC conversion feature's exclusion, update brings other changes
We had reported that the new update would also bring a feature that would allow players to convert their Battle Coins (BC) to Unknown Cash (UC). Although this seems to have been left out, the new update is bringing a host of other changes like adding moonlight in Vikendi, making it even more dynamic, and the addition of Sanhok in the Arcade quick matches.
