#GamingBytes: Planes disappearing from PUBG Mobile, makers apologize
PUBG Mobile recently released the new 0.12.0 update that brought a lot of enhancements with it. Sadly, the update brought forth a major glitch as well, which caused planes to disappear within the game. The bug also caused issues with parachuting and landing. On Friday, PUBG said it was aware of the glitch and apologized to players. Here's more about the story.
What all did the glitch affect?
Parachuting down from a plane is an important aspect of PUBG Mobile. When the game starts, players jump down after choosing the right area on the map. This glitch was causing planes to disappear and thereby leading to players' deaths in the game. A lot of players complained about this on Twitter as well. Some lags while entering/exiting vehicles were also reported.
PUBG noticed the problem and responded on Friday
PUBG Mobile took note of players' responses and tweeted an apology. "We are aware of the plane disappearing and parachuting issue. The cause is being investigated and it will be fixed as soon as possible. We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused and would like to thank you for your continued support," the tweet said. We hope that the bug gets fixed soon.

Here's what the new update brings
The new PUBG Mobile update has a new Darkest Night mode and weapons including an RPG-7 (rocket launcher), an explosive crossbow which can blow up Zombies as well as vehicles, and a new Liquid Nitrogen grenade that can freeze Zombies. Crosshair color options have been increased. Players can now choose from up to nine colors and even customize the red dot and holographic sight.
The new update might be the cause of this glitch
The 0.12.0 update that introduced a new Zombie mode, Darkest Night is being blamed by some players. It usually happens with a lot of games. When a new update is released, some bugs crop up to players' dismay. The new update also released new weapons, chat options, companion mode, and a spectate mode to watch other players' games without playing.
This comes amid reports of a possible nation-wide PUBG ban!
The hugely popular app, TikTok was recently banned in India owing to allegations of pornography and adult content being shown to children. Fans fear that PUBG Mobile might be next as there have been complaints of the game impacting kids and their studies. As per reports, the Rajkot Police has written to Google requesting it to ban PUBG downloads on grounds of "inciting violence".
