#GamingBytes: PUBG to be available on Xbox Game Pass
PUBG or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has been in the spotlight lately, more than usual. This time it is not because of its realistic gameplay but for its console related news. All about the big news
On November 22, PUBG will be made available on the Xbox Game Pass, as part of the X018 reveal, where Microsoft announced 16 games that would be arriving by the end of the year. Therefore, gamers who subscribe to the Game Pass can play PUBG for free. Other notable titles coming to the Game Pass include, 'Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice', 'Thief of Thieves' and 'Aftercharge'.
The pricing of PUBG now
Once PUBG moves to the subscription service, Game Pass, it will be available for free, whereas now it costs around Rs. 1,360. The first month of Game Pass costs approximately Rs. 94, till January 3. After that, the regular monthly fee of Rs. 725 applies.

Microsoft's addition of PUBG to Xbox Game Pass comes a few days after it made it free-to-play for a limited time. Spiking player interest will result in more Game Pass subscriptions and free PUBG play. Not only does this help PUBG compete with free-to-play Fortnite, but also helps Microsoft convince gamers to continue playing PUBG on Xbox even after it becomes available for PS4.
