PSG players abused by fans post Champions League exit
French champions Paris Saint-Germain were left stunned last week after Manchester United staged a dramatic comeback to beat the hosts and qualify for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League. PSG had an advantage following a 2-0 away lead but they succumbed to a fatal loss at home. The loss led to a backlash among fans as the players were abused post the exit.
Fans abuse players during latest training session
Since the show must go on, PSG players participated in a training session on Sunday, while about 500 fans were invited to watch the session. However, the idea seemed to have backfired as few of the fans started abusing the players for their inability to win against United last week. Notably, PSG are yet to win the biggest European honor.

PSG fans demand United's expulsion from Champions League
As PSG fans continue to protest, they have also demanded that United should be expelled from UCL. It is believed that Mason Greenwood's jersey was at the center of controversy as the jersey was believed to be printed at the club shop of PSG. However, it was revealed that United did not break any UEFA rule and his jersey was identical.
PSG were complacent against United in Champions League home leg
PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe, following loss against United, said, "My explanation is that we were very complacent after the first leg at Old Trafford. It was not the same PSG team. We lost the aggressiveness and rage that had made the difference at Old Trafford."
What's next for PSG?
While PSG continue to reel from the shocking loss to United, they get set to take on Dijon FCO in their next venture of Ligue 1. They also have important games against Marseille (March 18) and Toulouse (April 1) coming up, while they also face Nantes (April 4) in the French Cup semi-finals. PSG lead the race for Ligue 1 title with 71 points.
