South Zone's Baba Aparjith scored a brilliant double-century against West Zone in the 2013 Duleep Trophy quarter-final in Chennai. The 19-year-old managed 212 off 351 balls, including 17 boundaries and one six. His knock and Manish Pandey's (213 off 303) propelled SZ's first innings score to 600/9d. Although the match was drawn South Zone won on the basis of first innings score.
Yash Dhull (North Zone) - 193 vs East Zone, 2022
North Zone's Yash Dhull, managed an impressive 193 off 243 balls in the first innings of the 2022 Duleep Trophy quarter-final. The 19-year-old's knock included 28 fours and two fours, aiding North Zone to post 545 runs after East Zone managed 397. North Zone won the match on the basis of first innings score after the match was drawn. EZ were 102/3 (2nd innings).
Musheer Khan (India B) - 181 vs India A, 2024
India B's Musheer hit a solid 181 off 373 balls. His knock included 16 fours and five sixes. His innings was crucial as he orchestrated a record-breaking 205-run partnership for the eighth wicket with Navdeep Saini, taking India B's total to 321 in the first innings. This was Musheer's third ton across seven matches in FC cricket.
Sachin Tendulkar (West Zone) - 159 vs East Zone, 1991
Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar managed an impressive 159 runs in the first innings against East Zone in the 1991 Duleep Trophy. The record stood tall for 12 years. Sachin's 159 and a brilliant 122 from Sanjay Manjrekar saw West Zone post a massive total of 604 (first innings). The match was won by West Zone on the basis of first innings score.
