Indians with Test double of 3,000 runs and 300 wickets
Veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja recently became the seventh Indian to complete 300 wickets in Test cricket. He unlocked this achievement during the 2nd Test against Bangladesh at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. Jadeja overall took four wickets in the game India won by seven wickets. Kapil Dev - 5,248 runs and 434 wickets
According to ESPNcricinfo, Kapil Dev happens to be the only cricketer with the double of 4,000 runs and 400 wickets in Test cricket. He overall finished his career with 434 wickets across 131 Tests at 29.64. The tally includes 23 fifers and a couple of match 10-fers. With the willow, he smashed 5,248 runs at 31.05. He hammered eight tons besides 27 fifties.
Ravichandran Ashwin - 3,423 runs and 527 wickets
Jadeja's partner-in-crime Ravichandran Ashwin is among the most successful all-rounders in Test history. Having played 102 Test matches, Ashwin has recorded 527 scalps at an average of 23.65. His tally of 37 Test fifers is only second to Sri Lanka legend Muthiah Muralidaran (67). The all-rounder also boasts 3,423 Test runs at 26.74 as he has tallied six centuries and 14 fifties.
Ravindra Jadeja - 3,130 runs and 303 wickets
As mentioned, Jadeja recently entered this elite list. The left-arm spinner has now raced to 303 wickets across 74 Tests, averaging 23.87. He has 13 fifers under his belt. Coming to his batting stats, the southpaw has managed 3,130 Test runs at 36.39. Jadeja has smashed 21 fifties besides four tons in the Test format.
