4/15 - Zeeshan Maqsood vs UAE, 2020
Zeeshan Maqsood, the then Oman skipper, introduced himself as the eighth bowler in the 2020 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 match against UAE, played in Al Amerat. The left-arm spinner bowled just 6.1 overs that day and returned with 4/15. His brilliance meant UAE were folded for 170 and later lost the game by five wickets.
4/20 - Farveez Maharoof vs India, 2005
Former Sri Lankan all-rounder Farveez Maharoof delivered a fine death-over spell in the 2005 Ahmedabad match against India. The right-arm pacer, who was the eighth SL player to bowl that day, ran through the middle and lower order, and claimed figures worth 4/20 in five overs. Thanks to his efforts, SL restricted India to 285/8 and later scripted a five-wicket win.
4/28 - Travis Head vs England, 2024
Head's recent spell is next on this list. The part-time off-spinner sent back centurion Ben Duckett (107) in his very first over and didn't look back thereafter. He later got the wickets of Liam Livingstone, Brydon Carse and finally, Adil Rashid. Head's 4/28 meant England were bundled out for 309 and later lost the contest via the DLS method.
4/30 - Nisarg Patel vs PNG, 2021
USA's left-arm spinner Nisarg Patel gave a hard time to Papua New Guinea batters in the 2021 Al Amerat ODI. Though he was the eighth bowler to deliver that day, Patel made the most impact. He returned with 4/30 in 10 overs. Patel dismantled PNG's middle and lower order as the team got folded for 158. USA later won by seven wickets.
