Premier League: Arsenal back to winning ways
Arsenal kept their Premier League title hopes alive after registering a comfortable 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium in London. Making his 150th appearance for the club, Mesut Ozil fired the first goal in 58th minute, followed by a 68th minute goal by Theo Walcott. Substitute Olivier Giroud capped the winning goal in the 83rd minute.
City's poor form continues as Chelsea hold top spot
Chelsea bounced back from a loss against Crystal Palace to edge close to Premier league title after defeating Manchester City 2-1. Eden Hazard gave a 10th minute lead to Chelsea, with City's Sergio Aguero scoring the equalizer in 26th minute. Hazard netted the winning goal in the 35th minute, helping Chelsea to maintain a seven-point lead over Tottenham Hotspur.
Bournemouth hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw
Third placed Liverpool were held to a 2-2 draw by 13th placed Bournemouth after they scored a late equalizer. The Cherries took a 7th minute lead after a goal from Benik Afobe. Philippe Coutinho and Divock Origi scored a goal each for Liverpool.
Spurs score late to win 3-1 over Swansea City
Tottenham Hotspur scored three late goals to stage an extraordinary 3-1 win over Swansea City at Liberty Stadium in Swansea. Wayne Routledge gave Swansea a lead in the 11th minute. Dele Alli scored the equalizer in the 88th minute, followed by Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen scoring a goal each in the added time, maintaining second position of the Spurs.
Arsenal moves to fifth place to displace ManU
With the top four places held by Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Manchester City, Arsenal displaced Manchester United to climb on the fifth place after winning against West Ham United. ManU slipped to sixth place, followed by Everton and West Bromwich Albion. Southampton, Watford and Leicester City moved up to secure ninth, tenth and eleventh place respectively.
