As per a report in the BBC, Pogba went on to say that, "If you're not happy, you cannot give your best." He then added that, "There are things I cannot say otherwise I will get fined." These words reflect that he hasn't enjoyed at the club under Jose and that's the reason his performances took a hit last season.

Jose Mourinho handed the captain's armband to Pogba in the game against Leicester and the mid-fielder repaid the trust with a superb show. Despite being honored to lead the side, Pogba feels his essential role is to help his team-mates and win matches. The player also added that he loves the club as he is a product of the academy.
