#GamingBytes: All about PS4's successor PlayStation 5
PlayStation 4 or PS4 by Sony is currently one of the most popular gaming consoles in the world. However, its popularity might soon be eclipsed by its successor, the PS5. Notably, we had reported the official announcement by Sony that the company was working on a successor to the popular console. The features, which the PS5 will have, make it a treat for gamers.
Which all features will PS5 have?
The dreams of console gamers are about to come true as the PS5 reportedly will offer 60FPS (frames per second) gaming experience at 4K resolution. Some claims have also been made about an output which goes up to 8K. This should make it ideal for playing the state of the art games including quite a few cross-generation titles, that are currently available on PS4.
A whole new support from PS5
In a move that suggests VR or Virtual Reality gaming would become mainstream in the future, the PS5 is expected to support a new PSVR 2 headset that is being made. It will feature upgraded controllers and a built-in camera.
A massive leap in game graphics
PS5, with its promised features, comes at a time when game graphics are progressing by leaps and bounds. CRYENGINE, responsible for the graphics behind noteworthy games like Far Cry has recently posted how the next generation of games could look like and the photorealistic images are breathtaking. It would truly be a pleasure to enjoy such graphics on a 'next generation hardware'.
When is the PS5 getting announced?
With so many features, gamers cannot wait for PS5 to be launched so they can get their hands on the console. As things stand, the console could be announced in 2019 or 2020, though some analysts are leaning towards the former. Considering Sony is not attending E3 in 2019 or hosting PSX this year, it might host a mega event in 2019, announcing PS5.
