Mayank Agarwal stands head and shoulders above the rest
Karnataka's Mayank Agarwal has, by far, been the standout player of the tournament. He was instrumental in his side's run up to the title win. He amassed a whopping 723 runs at 90+ average during the tournament, 300 runs more than the next best. He also created a record by becoming the first Indian to score 700+ runs in a List-A tournament.

In Vijay Hazare Trophy, Agarwal had a dazzling outing with scores of 77, 109, 84, 28, 102, 89, 140, 81, and 90 in the final innings. With 2,141 runs, the 27-year-old scored the highest runs scored by any player in a single Indian domestic season.
Impressive Mohammed Siraj earns Team India call up
Hyderabad's Mohammed Siraj made a mark in the tournament, picking up 23 wickets from 7 innings, at an average of 15.65. He is the tournament's highest wicket-taker. Siraj also has three 5-wicket hauls. With the likes of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Bumrah rested for the Nidahas Trophy, Siraj earned Team India call-up, in light of his brilliant bowling efforts in the tournament.
Other finds from the tournament
Andhra Pradesh team's skipper Hanuma Vihari, and KS Bharat are among the others who made a mark. They played a key role as the team made it to their first ever Vijay Hazare Trophy semi-final. Bharat is the second highest run-getter, 390 from 8 innings, while Vihari has 378 runs and also registered the highest individual score of the tournament, 169.
