Paul Pogba wants to leave United, says his agent
Paul Pogba, who faced criticism from all quarters in the last season, has been long rumored to leave Manchester United this summer. There were still doubts regarding his rumored departure, after United rejected a couple of bids for him. However, Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has confirmed the player's desire to leave Old Trafford as he looks to organize his move. Here's more.
Everyone within the club knows Pogba's desire: Raiola
Raiola claimed that starting from the manager to the owner, everyone is well aware of the fact that Pogba intends to leave. He also confirmed that while he was arranging for his move out of Old Trafford, all of them were also aware of what Pogba feels at the club. He has no wish or interest to continue with them.
Raiola unsure if Pogba would join United's pre-season campaign
United are scheduled to get their pre-season campaign underway next week with a tour of Australia. However, Raiola sounded apprehensive about Pogba's chances of traveling with the team for the campaign. United players are scheduled to fly to Australia on Sunday. Meanwhile, Pogba had quoted last month to the media in Tokyo that he wished to pursue a fresh challenge somewhere else.
Pogba looks to move to Real Madrid
Pogba scored 16 goals last season, as eight of them came via penalties. While he was criticized for being lethargic, Solskjaer continued to trust him and offered him the vice-captaincy of the club. However, his love for United soon faded away. He has since been linked to a move to Real Madrid and Juventus, with the former being his preferred destination.
United should let Pogba leave
Pogba, so far, has delivered a decent performance at United. However, it is his inconsistency that led to his downfall. Further, he has not been able to achieve great things which were expected out of him. Thus, the author firmly feels that United should let Pogba find a new challenge, as there is no point making a player stay with no desire.
