Iga Swiatek has won the bronze medal in women's singles tennis at the 2024 Paris Olympics on Friday. Poland's number one seed Swiatek beat Anna Karolina Schmiedlova of Slovakia in straight sets. Swiatek won the contest 6-2, 6-1 in the bronze medal match held on Court Philippe-Chatrier at Roland Garros. Four-time French Open champion Swiatek made sure she didn't leave empty handed in Paris.
