Women's singles badminton ace He Bingjiao of China has reached the final at 2024 Paris Olympics. Knee injury forces Marin to retire
Spain's Marin, who won the Olympic gold medal in 2016, got injured while leading 21-14, 10-6. The three-time world champion put on a knee brace and played two more points before she decided to retire. Marin broke down in tears. Notably, the 31-year-old Marin suffered from anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries on both her knees in the past.
