2024 Paris Olympics: All we know about the closing ceremony
The highly-octane 2024 Paris Olympics has reached its business end. India's campaign came to an end after wrestler Reetika Hooda got eliminated from the 76 kg wrestling freestyle event. The 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony will be held on August 11 (August 12 in India). It will start at 12:30am IST. Stade de France in Paris will host the grand ceremony. Notably, the opening ceremony was held at River Seine on July 26. As per reports, France President Emmanuel Macron will share the stage with Thomas Bach, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) president.

Shooter Manu Bhaker, who won two bronze medals (individual and team event), and men's hockey team goal-keeper PR Sreejesh will be India's flagbearers at the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony.

Several renowned performers to grace the ceremony
As per the Olympics.com, the Paris Olympics closing ceremony will witness over 100 performers, acrobats, dancers, singers, and circus artists across events. The aerial show will have a blend of lighting effects and the flair of French in costumes, taking the specatators "on a journey into the past, to the origins of the Games, also into the future, and ultimately to a timeless universe."

As mentioned, India clinched six medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This is India's joint second-best medal haul along with the 2012 London Games.
