
Pakistan's Shan Masood signs all-format deal with Leicestershire for 2025

Leicestershire County Cricket Club has signed Pakistan's Test captain, Shan Masood, on an all-format contract for the summer of 2025.
The 35-year-old batter will be bringing his experience and batting talent to Grace Road.
Masood will join his new side in May after the Pakistan Super League (PSL) ends.
He will likely make his Leicestershire debut on May 31, against Derbyshire, his former county.

Impressive track record with Yorkshire
Before moving to Leicestershire, Masood had captained Yorkshire for the 2023 season.
During his time, he made a huge impact, scoring 1,240 runs from just 15 matches at an incredible average of 53, as per ESPNcricinfo. This further helped Yorkshire gain promotion back to Division One in 2024.
