Bangladesh have scripted history by recording their maiden Test win over Pakistan. They won the opening game at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium by 10 wickets. It was a high-scoring affair as Bangladesh posted 565 after Pakistan declared their first innings at 448/6. The home team batters struggled in the third innings and could only manage 146. Bangladesh comfortably accomplished the 30-run target.

Rizwan breaks this WTC record
Rizwan's performance in the Rawalpindi Test earned him 222 runs. As per ESPNcricinfo, he surpassed India's Rishabh Pant's previous record of most runs in a single Test match during the WTC. Pant scored 203 runs against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham in 2022. Rizwan's teammate Sarfaraz Ahmed, who scored 196 runs against New Zealand in 2023, holds the third spot on this list. .
Mushfiqur Rahim hit 191
Rahim, who made 191 off 341 balls, missed out on his 4th Test double-ton. He has now raced to 5,867 runs in Test cricket at an average of 39.11. In addition to 11 tons, he owns 27 fifties. As per ESPNcricinfo, Rahim owns 541 runs versus Pakistan at 41.61. This was his maiden Test ton versus Pakistan (50s: 2).
Three-fer for Naseem
Naseem Shah was the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan in the second innings. He managed 3/93 from 27.3 overs, bowling six maidens.
