Pakistan's Azhar Ali involved in dumbest dismissal of all time
The second Test between Pakistan and Australia has entered an exciting phase with the former taking control of the proceedings. Pakistan have momentum on their side in the ongoing Test in Dubai. Despite the dominating performance, batsman Azhar Ali's (64) bizarre dismissal has become the highlight of the day. Pakistani fans were left stunned with, what may be, the dumbest dismissal of all time.
Here is how the incident unfolded
The incident occurred during the 53rd over when Peter Siddle got Ali to edge a delivery towards third-man region. The pair were seen chatting in the middle of the pitch, without realizing that the ball hadn't reached the boundary. Mitchell Starc got the ball and threw it to keeper Tim Paine, who whipped off the bails, leaving Ali red-faced.

Pakistan were involved in a similar goof-up in 2016
It was Mohammad Amir in 2016, who lofted spinner Devendra towards long-on. Amir thought it has gone for a six and started to chat with partner Wahab. Roston Chase, with his stupendous acrobatics, kept the ball into play and threw it towards non-striker's end. A stunned Amir began to run suddenly, but he lost his bat and was dismissed.
