Pakistan batter Mohammad Rizwan has become the sixth-highest scorer in T20Is. The Pakistan cricket team ace attained the milestone in the second T20I versus Ireland in Dublin. Rizwan scored 75* from 46 balls to help his side gain a seven-wicket win in the second T20I. Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman shared a 140-run stand for the third wicket. Azam Khan played a blinder thereafter.
Rizwan makes history for Pakistan
Rizwan collected his 12th Player-of-the-Match (PoTM) award for Pakistan in T20Is. This is now the highest. Rizwan steered clear of Mohammad Hafeez, Shadab Khan and Shahid Afridi (11 awards each).
Rizwan and Fakhar help Pakistan win
Pakistan were 13/2 following the dismissal of Babar Azam. They needed assuarance and Rizwan alongside Fakhar provided the same. Rizwan was off to a shaky start as he played and missed. He has surpassed Aaron Finch's tally of 3,120 runs to become the sixth-highest scorer in T20Is. Finch played 103 matches for Australia before retiring in 2022.

Ireland posted 193/7 in 20 overs, riding on 51 runs from Lorcan Tucker. Key contributions from the rest of the side counted in a solid total. However, Rizwan and Fakhar dominated the chase as Pakistan won in 16.5 overs. Azam scored a 10-ball 30*.
